Second quarterly update - April 2007
By Rich • Apr 28th, 2007 • Category: NewsSo another few months have flown past, and another disappointing lack of enthusiasm from myself in updating the site. Firstly i’ll apologise for that, then ill pre-apologise to all those die hard PC people out there who should stop reading from now. Im going to buy an Apple made computer. What’s going to happen next you say? World War III? The end of modern civilisation? Nope, just a man who’s been using a right mouse button for over 12 years to start using a mouse without one…it’ll be an experience that’s for sure.
In other, slightly similar, news - my most popular bookmarks have surprisingly been Apple related. MacRumors and AppleDefects have been just a few, not to mention Apple themselves, in my attempts to find the best way to get a discount on that Macbook Pro i have been drooling over for the past 4 months. There are plenty of reasons for me to get a MBP, the upcoming Rosetta platform looks impressive - not to mention the reputable build quality from Apple (AppleDefects list a fair few problems with the MBP, but keep in mind the volume of sales compared to how many are actually reported to be defective), and the fact that im also interested in using OSX. Unfortunately im going to be waiting until what currently looks like October before buying, god damn you Leopard.
In summary then…and thats all the news. Oh, and i went to see Ricky Gervais live (Fame) at the Brighton Centre at the end of last month, funny guy. Seriously though he’s awesome. Which reminds me, my words for the month are awesome and fair play.
Coming soon: Yearly updates! Then? Who knows, “whenicanbearsed updates” sound good to me.
